Hello, I’m Julia - a photographer, content creator, and storyteller from Scotland.
My love for photography stems from my lifelong love for stories. Not only have I always enjoyed reading them, but I’ve always loved creating them.
My loves outside of photography are reading, coffee (both making it and drinking it), travelling and planning adventures, and spending time with my family, partner, and friends.
The seaside is where I feel most at peace, and when I’m not out exploring, you’ll usually find me with a good book in hand, cooking something in the kitchen, or getting stuck in with something creative.
Creativity in all its forms is what keeps me inspired and connected.
While studying literature at university, I began working as a professional photographer to help fund my student life.
In 2016, I joined Lightbox St Andrews, where I honed my skills and built a portfolio. Almost 10 years on, I’ve photographed everything from weddings and corporate events to fashion shows, products, properties – and despite all the cautions, even animals and children.
